HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO RECEIVE MY PORTRAIT?
Portrait times vary due to intricacy and size. On average, portraits are completed within one month. Upon ordering, we will discuss a more accurate time frame and any "need by" dates you may have.
ARE YOUR PORTRAITS DIGITAL DESIGNS?
Not at all! Every painting is sketched and hand painted from your reference photo.
WHY DO YOU ONLY OFFER BLACK AND WHITE PAINTINGS?
I believe that a monochrome painting is classic and timeless allowing the eye to focus solely on the subject(s) and their moment in time. Basically, I find it aesthetically pleasing and when it comes to gift giving, a black and white portrait will coordinate with any decor.

DO YOU SHIP OUTSIDE THE UNITED STATES?
Currently, we do not.
DO YOU ACCEPT RETURNS?
Due to the custom nature of our portraits, we do not accept returns - but don't worry! Throughout the creative process, I will keep in close contact with you and you will receive many in-progress photos as well as a final product picture for your approval before shipping. Your satisfaction is of utmost importance to me.
IF I DON'T LIKE SOMETHING, CAN YOU CHANGE IT?
Absolutely! I offer up to 2 changes made to the portrait after you have viewed the rough sketch. (additional changes may result in additional fees)
THERE'S A "THINGAMABOB" IN MY REFERENCE PHOTO THAT I'D LIKE LEFT OUT. IS THAT ALRIGHT?
As long as it isn't something ginormous, I'm happy to oblige. I have previously omitted ear buds, blemishes, and many other small details before.
HOW MANY PEOPLE/SUBJECTS/PETS CAN YOU INCLUDE IN MY PORTRAIT?
As many as you like, but please understand, the more people, the less details I'll be able to add. Same goes for canvas size - the bigger the size, the more beautiful details!
THE PICTURE I WOULD LIKE TO USE IS OLD AND NOT DIGITAL. WOULD THAT BE ALRIGHT?
Some of the best pictures were snapped before digital cameras and iphones existed, but no worries- that's what scanners are for! Scanning your reference photo is preferred to taking a picture of the photo to ensure the proportions are accurate and details stay sharp.
ONCE MY PORTRAIT IS SHIPPED, HOW CAN I TRACK MY ORDER?
Once we ship your painting, we will submit the tracking number from USPS through PayPal as well as email.
WHAT KIND OF PAINT DO YOU USE?
I use only high quality, non-toxic acrylic paints.
IS THE PAINTING SEALED?
You betcha! After the portrait is completed (and you have approved it), it gets 2 coats of a permanent, protective, satin finish sealant that is also non-yellowing and moisture resistant.
DO YOU SIGN YOUR WORK?
Sure do! Each canvas is signed and dated on the back.
WILL I NEED TO HAVE THE PORTRAIT FRAMED?
That's entirely up to you, but I do extend the painting over the sides of the canvas for a finished edge- so framing is not necessary.
THE PAINTING I'M ORDERING IS A GIFT. CAN YOU SHIP IT DIRECTLY TO THE RECIPIENT?
Yes, I'd be happy to! I would also be happy to include a personal note from you to the receiver.
